01Acceptance and scope

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of genesisteam.org (the “Website”), operated under the Genesis Team name (“Genesis Team,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. These Terms cover the Website and inquiries submitted through it. A separately accepted agreement governs any coaching engagement, membership, paid program, purchase, or other service and controls if it conflicts with these Terms on that subject.

02About Genesis Team

Genesis Team provides information about Christian leadership development, individual coaching, ministry and church coaching, and related resources and experiences. Submitting a form, requesting a coach, or expressing interest does not create membership, a coaching relationship, a ministry affiliation, employment, agency, or a binding service commitment. Participation is subject to review and any applicable separate agreement. References to a leadership “umbrella” or “covering” describe the relationship established in that agreement; website language alone does not transfer governance, legal responsibility, ownership, or financial obligations.

03Eligibility and appropriate use

You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you submit information for a church, ministry, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so. Provide accurate information and keep it current when relevant. Do not misuse the Website, submit unlawful or deceptive material, impersonate others, introduce malicious code, interfere with security, send spam, or attempt unauthorized access.

04Inquiries and information you submit

You remain responsible for the information you submit and for obtaining permission to share another person’s information. You authorize us to use your submission to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, confidential third-party records, or sensitive counseling information through the general inquiry form. A form submission does not create a privileged or professionally confidential relationship.

05Calls, email, text messages, and WhatsApp

When you request a response, we may contact you using the contact details and communication permissions you provide. Communications may concern your inquiry, coaching information, appointments, membership discussions, resources, or an existing relationship. Where you separately opt in, Genesis Team may send SMS messages or other communications using automated technology. Promotional messages require the consent applicable to that communication; accepting these Terms alone does not enroll you in promotional messaging.

For SMS, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop SMS messages or HELP for assistance. You may also request help or withdraw communication consent through our contact form at genesisteam.org. After an SMS opt-out, a confirmation message may be sent. Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent essential communications through another permitted channel about an active request or agreement. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase or submitting an inquiry. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be authorized to use the telephone number you provide.

06Coaching, results, and testimonials

Our content and coaching focus on faith, leadership, and ministry development. They are not a substitute for licensed legal, tax, financial, medical, or mental health services. Seek qualified professional advice for those matters. Testimonials, examples, participation figures, and past results describe particular experiences and do not guarantee future outcomes. Results depend on each organization’s circumstances, decisions, and participation.

07Payments, donations, and outside programs

The Website may link to donation, partnership, course, event, or payment pages. Review the price, billing frequency, cancellation terms, refund terms, and identity of the provider shown before completing a transaction. These Terms do not establish an automatic recurring charge or a blanket no-refund policy. Any recurring commitment requires the authorization and terms presented for that arrangement. Tax treatment of a donation depends on the recipient and applicable law; the Website alone does not establish tax deductibility. Payment providers and separately operated programs may have their own terms and privacy policies.

08Intellectual property

Website text, branding, graphics, videos, course descriptions, and other materials are owned by Genesis Team or used with permission, unless otherwise identified. You may view and use materials for personal, noncommercial informational purposes. Do not reproduce, sell, redistribute, alter, or publicly exploit protected materials without permission from the appropriate rights holder, except as permitted by law. A purchase or enrollment does not grant broader rights than those expressly included with it.

09Third-party links and embedded content

Links and embedded media may connect you with separately operated ministries, programs, platforms, or payment providers. Their policies govern information you provide to them and your use of their services. A link does not make Genesis Team responsible for their content, availability, transactions, or practices, or create a partnership beyond any separately documented relationship.

10Website availability and limitations

We aim to keep information useful and current, but content, availability, and program details may change. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genesis Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11Changes, disputes, and remaining provisions

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the date above. Changes apply prospectively to the extent permitted by law and do not amend an existing separate agreement without the process that agreement requires. Please contact us first about concerns so we can try to resolve them. Applicable law governs these Terms; nothing here waives mandatory consumer protections. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
