This Privacy Policy describes how Genesis Team (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with genesisteam.org (the “Website”), inquiries, and related communications. It applies to information handled by Genesis Team through these activities. It does not replace the privacy policies of independently operated ministries, programs, payment platforms, or other websites linked from this Website.

02Information you provide

When you submit an inquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide. The Website’s inquiry form requests first name, last name, telephone number, email address, state, organization name, current leadership position, and information about your organization. We also receive your communication permissions and information you provide in later correspondence.

If you later request services or participate in a program, additional information may be needed to administer that relationship and will be collected in that context. Avoid submitting confidential third-party information, passwords, identification numbers, health information, or payment card details through the general inquiry form. Ministry and leadership conversations may reveal religious affiliations; share only what is necessary for your request.

03Technical information, cookies, and embedded media

Website hosting and related systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, access times, pages requested, and error or security logs. Cookies and similar technologies may support website functions, preferences, security, and measurement where enabled.

The Website includes externally hosted content, including Vimeo media. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent records will not be transferred to another organization to establish that organization’s marketing permission. We may provide the information needed to deliver messages to service providers acting on our behalf, including messaging platforms and telecommunications carriers, and may make disclosures required by law.

If you separately opt in to SMS, messages may concern your inquiry, coaching information, scheduling, or other subjects described at opt-in. Promotional texts require separate permission where applicable. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. 07Your communication choices

You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the instructions in the message, opt out of SMS by replying STOP, and ask us to stop other optional communications by contacting us. For WhatsApp, you may request that messages stop or use the platform’s controls. A withdrawal applies prospectively and does not make earlier authorized processing unlawful. We may retain limited information needed to honor your opt-out and may communicate through another permitted channel about an active service or legal matter.

08Payments and donations

When you follow a donation, partnership, course, or payment link, the operator and payment provider identified on that page handle the transaction under their own policies. Genesis Team may receive transaction or relationship information needed for acknowledgments, administration, or support where applicable. Please review the payment page’s privacy notice before submitting financial information. Do not send full payment card information through the Website’s inquiry form.

09Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, taking into account active inquiries, ongoing relationships, consent and opt-out records, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. The Website’s leadership and coaching inquiry functions are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through these functions. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Separate youth or family programs may use their own registration process and notices.

Genesis Team serves an international leadership community. Information submitted to the Website may be processed in the United States or other locations where relevant providers operate. Applicable legal safeguards must be observed when required; merely visiting the Website does not waive your mandatory privacy rights.
